This Small batch of authentic Pashmina (also now know as cashmere) shawls are hand made using traditional techniques that are centuries old.
The wool for these special classic pieces are crafted from a breed of goat that live in the high altitude areas around the Changthang plateau in the Himalayas.
The diameter of this special Pashmina fiber is very minute (about five times smaller than a human hair). During Molting Season (Spring), the goats shed away this inner wool which they develop all over again during the course of the winter. The inner wool is collected, then hand spun, dyed & hand woven by our artisan partners in Kashmir.
