This is a fantastic piece and is a stunning example of how Oscar De la Renta masterfully creates the most exquisite, feminine pieces over and over! It is a tribute to all that is refined and elegant. A heavy pale pink silk skirt, with just a drop of peach to the tone, has a stunning overlay of black lace that runs around the skirt just above the ruffled hem. The bodice is fitted with a high lace neckline, built in inner bodice and beautiful lace sleeves. The effect of being covered completely and yet having the skin peek through the lace is a delicious contrast and has a subtle sexiness. The skirt is cut to fall wider as it falls to the ground. I love how he has carried the lace over the waist so it sits atop the hips and how all the edges of the lace are left scalloped! It is in wonderful condition and a stunning early!

The skirt is fully lined in a pale peach silk organza. The bodice is lined in a fine silk tissue. It closes with a back painted metal zipper at the back waist, and a hook & eye at the top of the neck. There are some small, light discolorations along the hem. The inner silk lining shows some heel marks, scuffing and fraying to the edges of the hem. There are a couple of small pin holes near the hem of the exterior ruffle as well- these do not show when worn and are mentioned for accuracy.
