My Scottish/ Celt lineage inspired this set. I used the basic principles of a bib from a traditional Kilt to work up the bib accent of the high low overskirt. The soft orange hue that is also visible within the blended tartans from the material I had used for the shell of the piece is centralized with this panel. The pencil skirt is timeless and when paired with the vest, can create their own ensemble or be matched with the overskirt, depending on the event. 

The weather was sent from the land of the thistle to the land of the maple leaf to create the perfect mood to compliment this ensemble.
